Laura has a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Saskatchewan and a Certificate in Quality Management from the University of Manitoba. Laura has more than 10 years of experience in food safety and quality assurance for in raw and ready-to-eat meat, ice cream, and regulated cannabis industries. Laura brings an in-depth knowledge of the BRC Global Standards, Health Canada Cannabis Act, and CFIA Safe Food for Canadians Act.

Laura brings her prior experiences into her current role as Quality Assurance Manager for the Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and Northern Ontario regions. Within this role, Laura is responsible for Orkin Canada’s Annual Gold Medal Assessments and National Account Inspections to ensure compliance with internal and external scopes of service in her regions, providing technical support to local Branch Managers and Service Technicians, and maintaining Orkin Canada’s third-party contractor management platforms.
