The BMSB risk in Canada
In 2019 Canada was added to the list of high risk countries for the Brown Marmorated Stink Bug (BMSB) by the governments of Australia and New Zealand.
For the 2023-24 BMSB risk season:
The measures apply to goods shipped from 1 September 2023 that arrive in Australian territory by 30 April 2024 (inclusive).
